We are a Christ-centred congregation. <\/em>We preach Christ and Him crucified for the salvation of the world. There are no tips on how to live a better life or how to get ahead. Instead we focus on what Christ has done to save us sinners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are a family friendly congregation.<\/em> We love to have the little ones sitting with their family. After all, the Church is the family of God, why wouldn\u2019t we all want to be together!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are a liturgical congregation.<\/em> We follow the traditions of the western catholic Church as they have been handed down to us through the Reformation. When we worship we are in solidarity with the saints of old and with those around the world. We sing hymns both ancient and modern that speak to what God has done for us in Christ Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are a sacramental congregation.<\/em> Christ works to bring His salvation to us through means. We remember our baptism where we were cleansed by the water and word of God. We confess our sins to God our Father who forgives us for Christ\u2019s sake. We offer the Lord\u2019s Supper where Jesus comes to us with His body and blood for us Christians to eat and drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because we believe that in the Sacrament of the Altar that the Lord Jesus gives to us His body and blood we practice closed communion. If you have any questions as to what this means please make sure to speak to the pastor before service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
